We're officially out of stealth mode with our new $25M fund @125ventures investing in sports, media, and entertainment at the intersection of tech. We've been working on this fund for the past 12 months. I am we're honored Venture Capital Journal highlighted our Founder & Managing Partner, our fund, and the origin of its name - a nod to our Founder's Harlem Roots named after the most iconic street in Harlem. This fund is the culmination of her career in entertainment and media - as an attorney and dealmaker turned angel and VC investor for the past decade. We recently welcomed our new summer interns for 2026. We believe investing goes beyond capital. We build ecosystems, expand access, and develop the next generation of leaders.

That's why, for the third consecutive summer, we have partnered with the wonderful Ladder for Leaders program, which is part of the Department of Youth & Community Development.

Last week I attended the historic evening when @unrivaledbasketball (the 3-on-3 women’s pro off-season basketball league with top WNBA players) took its game to the City of Brotherly Love - Philadelphia. This league was founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart.

It drew more than 21,490 fans at Xfinity Mobile Arena, shattering records as the most attended regular season women’s pro basketball game ever and the most attended event ever at Xfinity Mobile. This is the home of both the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers and the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers. Women’s sports is where it's at! Big thanks to my friend and fellow investor @mposoff for the invite.
