✨Sweets for Breakfast✨

I’m not a fan of sweet breakfasts but I am a fan of having a savory breakfast WITH a sweet treat. And these raspberry brioche buns with cream cheese are just that: a little sweet treat to complete any breakfast.

✨Citrus and Champagne Pavlova✨

Citrus always brightens up these dull winter months for me and this dessert in particular is perfect for Valentine’s Day. I love the crunchy and chewy texture of sweet meringue in pavlova and especially paired with the tart of the citrus fruit. The champagne really gives it a pop of extra special flavor.

What are you thinking of enjoying for Valentine’s Day?

✨Blood Orange and Rosemary✨

Have you experimented with herbs in your baking? I personally love using herbs like basil, thyme, rosemary, sage and others in my baking. While not primarily intuitive, they can add such depth of flavor to your desserts! If you’re having trouble knowing what sort of herbs pair well with your star flavor, check out the Flavor Bible. I found it so helpful in the beginning of my flavor pairing journey.

What flavor combos do you love?

✨Masala chai creme brûlée✨

I always love baking my own recipes on my website and making little improvements here and there. I try to approach it as someone new making my recipe for the first time. Do the steps make sense? Is it easy to follow? Did I make any assumptions? Have I left anything out or forgotten something? Did I figure out a new trick or hack that I should share? I think making those little tweaks regularly is a really important part of sharing recipes in this digital world. I also love updating the photos as I improve my food photography skill. Continuous improvement is my way of life.

Tl;dr: my masala chai creme brûlée recipe got a little glow up.
