This week on Frida Says What, I’m telling a story of fear, hope, love and faith.
I was held captive for 5 days, and during that time I came face to face with a truth that is absolute about the human experience: Where there is life, there is hope. And to add, where there is hope there is God.

I cannot even begin to express how lucky I am to have survived such an ordeal, or to even have been loved and trusted so fiercely in my absence.

Coming out solidified things for me. What matters, what to do.
We need to be better. I want to help people get better.

This episode is heavy, and so if you’d like to read the essay I wrote on my experience instead, it’s also titled the same on my publication, All the things I Can’t say on Substack.

I’m so glad to be alive, so glad to get to continue what I started.
