In less than 24 hours, our previous post has blessed so many people, and we’ve been so encouraged by the messages you’ve sent us about how our story has encouraged you too. 🥹🤎 So, we thought we’d share the actual live reaction from the moment we received the word. 😂😭

But listening back to this voice note has had us thinking about something. Why were we so surprised? We had prayed. We had asked God for something very specific. And when it happened we were genuinely shocked!

As Maggie shared in our previous post, she had her doubts. A part of her struggled to believe that God would answer in such a specific way, even though we had asked Him to.

And we wonder how many of us can relate. We say we believe God. We say we trust Him. We pray and ask Him for things. But sometimes, after waiting, experiencing disappointment or simply navigating life, we begin to lose the expectation that He will actually answer.

We believe He can, but do we still believe He will?

One thing this experience has reminded us of is Gideon in Judges 6. He asked God for confirmation, and God graciously met him in his uncertainty.

Our story isn’t about putting God in a box or expecting Him to answer every prayer in the way we imagine. It’s about remembering that we can bring our questions, our requests and even our doubts to Him because God has not stopped answering.

And perhaps, as we wait, part of our journey is learning to trust Him enough to expect Him to be at work, even when we cannot yet see how.

If you’re in a season of waiting, questioning or struggling to believe, we hope this encourages you. You don’t have to pretend to have perfect faith. Keep bringing it all to Him. 🤎

We’re just two imperfect people learning to walk with a perfect God welcome to our little corner of faith, love and life.

A NEW NAME & A NEW CHAPTER 🤎

This name has been part of our story since 2019, long before we became husband and wife. What started as a name my husband envisioned for our future became part of a journey that has taught us so much about faith, obedience and trusting God, even when we don’t have all the answers.

And now, we’re inviting you into this next chapter with us.

We’re two imperfect people learning to build a life that honours God, steward what He’s given us, and enjoy the beautiful, ordinary and sometimes challenging moments of life together.

Through this platform, we’re sharing our life through our faith. From the lessons God is teaching us, to the things we’re learning about family, finances, fitness and simply having fun along the way.

Our desire isn’t to portray a perfect picture or pretend we have it all figured out. It’s to show what God can do with two people who are willing to keep yielding to Him.

Every man in that room walked away knowing his life matters.

Spoke at a men’s-only brunch in London last weekend. “The Wise Builder.” What stayed with me most was the panel, hearing men who’ve genuinely built strong families, businesses, and communities talk honestly about the road it took to get there.
If you don’t have that in your life, go find it. Or better, be it for someone else.

Made $1,258.90 today and passed my evaluation. I’m officially a $50,000 funded trader 🎉

Gap on the hourly at market open, plus the S&P 500 and Nasdaq disagreeing with each other at the previous day’s open. Sellers were in control. Shorted straight down to London lows.

Blew an account from tilting 2 weeks ago. Learned to stop chasing bigger targets and lock in safer ones instead. Now I’m funded, trading live from tomorrow.

Here’s how I made $925 today.

I was looking to buy because the S&P 500 and Nasdaq disagreed with each other at a key low. A signal price was about to reverse up. Confirmed it with a small gap on the 1-minute chart and got in.

The real win today wasn’t the entry, it was the exit. I took profit at a closer, safer level instead of holding for a bigger target. Right after I hit it, price reversed hard again. If I’d held out like yesterday, I’d have gotten stopped out in profit two days in a row.

doing life with my bestie 💛

I’ve been thinking a lot about how much relationships are really about finding the overlap. My husband’s love language is quality time, and he also really loves the gym 😂 Our schedules recently look completely different, so we’ve had to get good at showing up in the way the other would like in subtle but intentional ways

I feel like that’s what a lot of my friendships and other relationships look like in this season too.

The older I get the more adaptable I feel like we have to become. People become more busy, but it doesn’t mean intentionality in building relationship stops.

Seven days ago, I couldn’t walk. Today, Day 1 of 90 starts.
