Japan Festival 2026

Two full days of sharing Japanese drinks, meeting so many people, and seeing familiar faces again.

From Orion Beer to Takara Can Chu-Hi and CHOYA, premium sake from Nanbubijin and Hakkaisa,it was great to see people enjoying a little taste of Japan in Mississauga.

Definitely exhausted, but even more grateful.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, had a drink with us, and made this weekend special.

The most challenging event I’ve ever worked as a vendor, but also one of the most rewarding.

Supporting Matsuri Japon in Montreal was an incredible experience. While my French skills are still far from where I’d like them to be, this trip motivated me even more to keep learning and improving.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, supported us, and shared their enthusiasm throughout the festival. I’m also deeply grateful to the organizers of Matsuri Japon for their hard work and dedication in making this event such a success.

Montreal business trip.

Spent five days with a great balance between work and personal life.

Product promotions, customer visits, good food, music, gym sessions, a bit of rain, and plenty of work in between.

Every city has its own energy, and Montreal definitely has its own unique character.

While my focus is primarily on the Toronto market, this trip reminded me that there’s a lot of potential here as well. Looking forward to supporting the Montreal team more and contributing to its growth in the future by @1nobu9

We flipped “Beaver” into “Beabar.”

Partly because in Japanese, V and B sounds often blend together :)
But somehow… it also makes perfect sense for a bar.

New York short trip 🇺🇸

Kicked off 2026 by jumping into a different world for a bit.
Arrived right before a huge snowstorm and ended up staying two extra days.

I just wanted to picture the “What if I lived in New York?” life, so this was a little on-site exploration as I have lived in Toronto 8 years now.

Worked remotely, explored different scenes, faced a few challenges—but overall, totally worth it.

13年ぶりのニューヨークまた昔と全然違った感覚の旅。
今の仕事の延長線上でニューヨークのバー、レストラン、酒蔵訪問。その現場でたくさんの “海外で働く日本人”にお会いできてまたトロントと違った刺激を頂きました。

26 years living in Japan and 6 years living in Canada.

心からおめでとう！！

I was on the video call with them.

Our friendship has been almost 20 or more.

Apology I missed it.

However, they always motivate me to push myself going forward here.
It feels that I have always a place to be back in being myself in Japan.

Sake, beer, Wagyu, Hamachi, miso, and so on. It's a wide range of various products that our company imports and distributes. Attending events is also part of marketing and my role to interact with many people. From my standpoint, being in either fashion (my previous job) or the food industry is quite related. It's always present in your daily life.
There is still a lot to learn, but it's been fun to belong to this industry.

All I need are experiences, achievements, and money for my long-term career. Stay tuned.

My first business trip.
#montreal

Definitely coming back here to expand business.

I am aiming for NY and Japan to take a business trip going forward.
Just simply enjoyable to interact with others in different commercial area.
It’s beyond fun to play a role to demonstrate products related to my home country.
Especially, meeting up with representatives of vendors from Japan.
That makes me really want to put into efforts to promote their product in Canada

My schedule had been intense last a couple weeks however I was able to take a lot of lessons from it.
From now on, I will be more dedicated on accumulating product knowledge, making sales and building rapports with my customers.

新しい仕事が始まって大体三ヶ月が経過。
色んなしがらみやマイナス面もあるけど営業として日本の製品を全く違うカルチャーやバックグランドの人たちに説明したり広める事にやりがいを感じてるしもっとビジネスを拡大したいなと。
ほんと当たり前のように使ってる
醤油や味噌、味醂、酢とにかく奥が深くてすごい歴史と技術と時間がかかっていて半端ない。
とりあえず日本語の長文の語彙力が落ち過ぎて恥ずかしいので、簡単にまとめるとこれからもっと更に頑張りますし日本と海外を繋ぐいい架け橋になりたいなと。

Thinking doesn’t accomplish anything but actions does.
