Looking for the perfect sake to pair with your fall dishes? Narai Kinmon Junmai Daiginjo might just be the one you are looking for! 🍂

Invitingly sweet and herbaceous on the nose, it has a refined texture and milky acidity! Although the body might be a bit lighter than anticipated, this sake pairs beautifully with richer western dishes and buttery vegetables! 🍄‍🟫🥔🥦🥕🧅

A little bit about the brewery, Narai-Juku is located 940 metres above sea level in Nagano prefecture. They are surrounded by forests of Japanese cedars and prestige mountain water. The temperatures there can drop to as low as -20 which isn’t common in most places around Japan but as a result, they have beautiful rotating landscapes and seasons like we do in Canada! 🍁

They focus on smaller tanks to ensure excellent craftsmanship of the their sakes and brew all year round. To them, it reflects the purity and changing beauty of Nagano through its four seasons. 🍂☃️🌸🌿

If you haven’t had the chance to purchase tickets yet, follow the link in our bio and we’ll see you on Friday October 2nd! 🎟️✨

Japan Festival 2026

Two full days of sharing Japanese drinks, meeting so many people, and seeing familiar faces again.

From Orion Beer to Takara Can Chu-Hi and CHOYA, premium sake from Nanbubijin and Hakkaisa,it was great to see people enjoying a little taste of Japan in Mississauga.

Definitely exhausted, but even more grateful.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, had a drink with us, and made this weekend special.

See you at the next one! 🇯🇵✨

@matsurijapon
The most challenging event I’ve ever worked as a vendor, but also one of the most rewarding.

Supporting Matsuri Japon in Montreal was an incredible experience. While my French skills are still far from where I’d like them to be, this trip motivated me even more to keep learning and improving.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, supported us, and shared their enthusiasm throughout the festival. I’m also deeply grateful to the organizers of Matsuri Japon for their hard work and dedication in making this event such a success.

Merci beaucoup, Montréal. Until next time! 🇯🇵🇨🇦

Toronto nights.
Shochu highballs.
Good people.

100 EASTBEABAR
May 20 — Bathurst Local

一夜限りのチューハイバー

* 1 drink would be $10-12

*Orion beer is also available

100 East Beaver Creek — the address of the company I work for, Ozawa.

We flipped “Beaver” into “Beabar.”

Partly because in Japanese, V and B sounds often blend together :)
But somehow… it also makes perfect sense for a bar.

A small wordplay between Japan and Toronto.

A wonderful evening @midnightblue_nyc filled with excellent food, thoughtfully crafted drinks, and even better company. While winter nights often invite us to stay in, evenings like this are a reminder of how rewarding it can be to step out and enjoy the city 🍸

Midnight Blue provided an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, elegant yet relaxed. It was perfect for lingering conversations and a memorable night out alongside @1nobu9 who was visiting New York City.

Thank you, @takuma0w and @ryozuke21, for such a fantastic evening. Your hospitality, attention to detail, and effortless way of keeping both the drinks and the good times flowing made it truly special ✨

Some more bops from that one night with @jamie___xx @historytoronto

A lot of people asked me what that felt like and it’s hard to put into words. I’ve never in my life performed in front of this many people. Needless to say there really is no frame of reference for me for something like this. All I remember is feeling so grateful to continue to be here doing what I love, after all these years. If I could go back in time to tell my teenage self this is where we would be at, I simply wouldn’t believe it could be true!

Thank you to everyone who came down on a chilly night to jam down. Thank you to all my friends who have been there from the beginning and to those who see me now and support me 💗 Thank you to @jamie___xx @cameronjbstewart @georgec____ @historytoronto @wassermanmusic for putting together such an unforgettable time for me and believing in me to represent! Big love xx R

Classic:
Nanbu Bijin from Iwate is a benchmark producer and this is a great example of added alcohol sake that’s delicious and so easy to drink.

Ginjo aromatics, melon, pear and other fresh fruity notes with a lightness that comes from the added alcohol.

A week and a half out and it’s taken us this long to be able to properly fill you all in on what went down Sun Oct 8. And the reason is b/c it blew our tops off 🤯(in the best way)! For those of you that were there, thank-you for your lovely spirits and holding the dancefloor down for so many hours, we danced ‘til dawn and Darryn took us to another funked out jazzed up plane of existence. 🪐

Darryn, THANK-YOU for making the journey, for working us into a lather and showing us exactly how a real underground DJ puts it out there. Not sure how to best speak about the wild ride of genres, moods, and emotions that you ferried us through but they all had one thing in common, as you said: ‘You’ll know it when you feel it’

A party with limited post-mortem media as pretty much no one had their phones out all night (bless!) and no recording avail (you had to be there!)

Big ups to @misterbacs for all his help, thx to all the staff and @markpreanto @1nobu9 + @bohemianrafsody for holding down the entrances.

Sorry to our neighbours re: the fire alarm- it was only the fog machine 😶‍🌫️

Big respect and massive love from everyone at The Little Jerry, that truly was a night we’ll always remember.

Check the legend’s soundcloud to get educated. @dj.darryn__disco_or_die

For those that we were not able to fit in on the night, we are sorry! Grab your tix early for Lil’ Jerry’s next Big Party going down Nov 18- details to come
