“You may not become well known, or you may not become famous. But you can serve and be great”

-Rev. Jesse Jackson

A beautiful privilege being in such an intimate setting with two pillars for the Black community, culture and history!

God has shown me his faithfulness even when I didn’t have faith in myself. From 2018 till now, the gift is still being used Lord ✨ My biggest prayer is to remain obedient in the midst of this new journey. DONT GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS! Don’t give up on yourself and don’t give up on God!

Nearly 12 days after turning 33, proof of life ❤️

Bouncing back from a mental prison I was trapped in for days on end. But there's a name that is above every name, above the spirit of anxiety, the spirit of depression, and the spirit of addiction, and that name is Jesus!

Community is such a life raft! Do the things that bring you joy and give you life; be around the people who make it easy to exist and show up as yourself, no matter the constant healing baggage on your healing journey.

There's hope in Jesus; keep going! Romans 5: 3-5

Sometimes, there are corners of my mind that feel safer than reality. But in reality, that survival instinct doesn’t serve me well currently.

Working on it, praying about it, therapy-ing it!

Dear Taft Homes,

I write this letter,

With a heart full of gratitude,

A heart that’s still healing from our shared experiences,

But none the less… healing,

You housed the love of my life,

Between your four walls,

Is where she rested her head every night,

I even remember my first fight,

It was the first time momma let me out of her site,

With the neighborhood chasing behind me,

All over a bike!

On your sidewalks I walked many days,

Sometime with no location in mind,

Just wanted to walk the thoughts off,

One memory at a time,

I loved, laughed, screamed and cried,

Because of you,

My life was quite the ride,🫠😮‍💨😩🥰😂

So im writing to say,

I made it out,

And I’ll soon tell our story one day! ✨
