So last month, 22 Skates got featured in the @oranparkgazette !! And im only just catching up on gloating!

But really it's great to be supported in the community by publications such as this.

The article highlights the muti faceted nature of skating and the lovely jubbly social parts!

Thanks to #oranparkgazette again for this opportunity! by @22skates_

1 YEAR OF 22 SKATES!

One year ago, 22 Skates began with a simple goal — to keep the love of rollerskating alive and growing in the Macarthur Region.

And WOW… look what we’ve built together.

From our very first classes to packed sessions, new skaters finding their confidence, kids discovering a new passion, adults challenging themselves, friendships forming and our skating community continuing to grow — this first year has been something really special.

Thank you to every skater, parent, instructor, volunteer and supporter who has been part of our first year.

Here’s to 1 year down… and so many more laps to go! by @22skates_

After Maximum Skating closed, I knew we needed somewhere to learn, connect and keep skating.

So 22 Skates was born.

What started with a simple idea has grown into skate lessons, new friendships, new skaters and a growing community across Macarthur.

This isn’t just about teaching people how to skate.
I
It’s about keeping roller skating alive, bringing new people into the community and building something that can grow into the future.

This is the story of how 22 Skates began.

And we’re only getting started.

Behind every great skating lesson is a great instructor

I recently took part in Skate NSW Instructor Training, developing my skills, knowledge and confidence to help skaters learn, progress and have fun on wheels.

From teaching techniques and safety to working with skaters of different ages and abilities, instructor training is all about creating better experiences for our skating community.

We’re proud to keep learning, growing and investing in quality coaching at 22 Skates
