Here are some images of this installation we designed, painted and fabricated with @vanessa__clavijo and my team @biinarystudios for @f1mia #miamigp of the paddock entrance. I'm more than honored to be part of this incredible production. Thanks to everyone involved, it wasn't easy, but we made it to the finished line. 🙏 congratulations to @garfinkeltom, @laurenkteixeira, @hardrockstadium, and many more for making this now a Miami landmark .. @illsurge ❤️ Photos by @drone_exelbierd.

I dedicated this mural to my dear friend @richardphilippe1 and his family. Reat in peace 🙏 taken in F1 Miami Grand Prix by @2alasofficial

Late nights in the studio with Filio.
Talking nonsense that somehow makes sense now.

Laughing, losing track of time,
following an idea just to see where it went.

The screen seemed to breathe.
Lines bent. Windows drifted.
What was familiar became something else.

Between those conversations, the work kept taking shape.

Hours of looking.
Repetition.
Decisions made, erased,
and made again.

This animation brings me back to those nights.
Some ideas take years to find their meaning. by @2alasofficial

Six years ago in Chicago with Cesar @czrprzart

This project was an early exploration of something that continues to shape my work today: taking a drawing off the page and turning it into architecture.

The installation combines deep sculptural relief, layered linear patterns, and preserved moss integrated directly into the composition. The idea was to create a surface that changed with perspective and light—part mural, part sculpture, part landscape.

Looking back at it now, I can see a lot of the language that eventually evolved into the large-scale relief work I’m producing today.

Chicago, 2020.
Art, material, architecture, and nature becoming one surface.

Quality control on site at E11EVEN Hotel & Residences.
Inspecting seam tolerances and panel alignment up close before the installation locks in. With Relievo™ volumetric panels, precision in fabrication has to hold up under direct light, where every joint line and shadow angle reads from the street.

A first look at the precast relief panels for our installation at E11EVEN Hotel & Residences in Miami.

Translating linear and topographic drawings into Relievo™ volumetric panels, integrated alongside vertical fluted facades. At this scale, the geometry responds to the light, casting shifting shadows across the relief throughout the day.

Test fitting the language of the building.

A surface becomes a frequency.
Lines stretch, compress, and dissolve into something you don’t fully read until you step back… or zoom in.

Working at this scale is always a balance between control and letting the material breathe — letting the city, the light, and the movement complete the pie .. by @2alasofficial
