I used to have a thriving art practice before I jumped into the depths of socially engaged art. I still paint digitally and rarely in my studio, but I am not as prolific as I used to be.
When collectors and friends share pictures from random corners of the earth where my paintings have become their friends, and made their home 💙 I go back to the moments of pure creation, when there was just me and the painting and nothing else, and eventually there was just the painting and no me left.
Painting is my spiritual path. It will always remain so. I am working on revamping my website and shop this year, and hope to paint more and properly organize my art practice. Meanwhile enjoy these pictures of 'Partha' and koothu, and the woman by the moonlight , meeting buddha on the road and some more paintings of mine at the beautifully styled Nisha's home.

Nearly 2,000 years ago, in the Sangam period, Kaniyan Poongundranar wrote these words in Purananuru 192—every place is home, and everyone is kin.
