“Through amazing grace, I’m taken home.” - Ryan Hamner
Remembering Ryan through his music, his books, and @bambabox

From Ryan's Mom...
.
"Awesome" is the word Ryan used to describe a wonderful event. And, today I'm sharing something I believe he'd say is awesome.
.
Ryan wrote and recorded a song for me not long before he went home to be with the Lord. He left instructions for his brother Jase in a letter so we would find the words he taped to his bedroom door. Ryan played the song for me once without me knowing why he wrote it, I believe, because he wanted to see my response. And, of course, it brought tears and I smiled and I told him it was beautiful. And, it was!
.
"Awesome" is my word today because now I'll be able to share it with you! With the help of Ryan's good friend and producer, Jeff Tomei of Rockit Productions, and another good friend, Glenn Schick, Ryan's song, "Know," will be released on his birthday, October 22.
.
Ryan's good friend, Ben Milam, designed the cover from a photo done by another friend, Erick Villaran.
.
If you'd like to pre-save "Know," please find the link in his bio. Listen thoughtfully to his words. Ryan would say that's "awesome," and I agree that it is!

From Ryan’s Mom:
.
Ryan finished recording his song “Georgia” the day he entered the hospital. And, he designed the cover on his laptop from his hospital bed just before he went into surgery.
.
When his dear friend and producer, Jeff Tomei of Rockit Productions, sent the mix of the recording, Ryan was able to hear it when I played it for him following surgery. Thanks to all who have helped with this song—Jeff Tomei (producer), Glen Schick (mastering engineer), Kenny Kilgore (guitarist), the Ford sisters—Carol and Vanessa (Gospel singers)—who Ryan dubbed “the Angels,” and his good friend, Brett Raio (artist and musician).
.
Ryan persevered for you—his friends—to finish this song, a story of pain and redemption, heartache and restoration. Click the link to pre-save “Georgia” to be released on the day that would have been his 46th birthday, Saturday, October 22, when it will be available to download on almost every platform. Ryan would say it would be “awesome” if you downloaded his song on his birthday. And, I would agree. God bless each one of you.

This song is for YOU, friend! And, especially if you are struggling through something difficult. Ryan wrote this song when he was facing some hard times. He designed the cover in the hospital before surgery using the bed sheet and the skyline out his window.
