Will you MARRY ART 💍? My style is my art 🎨 , and my art has a message. When I chose to wear and showcase my graffiti wedding outfit 👰🏼‍♀️ @viviennewestwood during Paris Fashion Week, my message to women is that we have choices in life 💪🏼.

While we can find fulfillment in love and companionship ❤️, a marriage must no longer be our sole purpose. Yet, this is a mindset deeply engraved in our subconsciousness. From countless conversations I had with many women 🫂, especially in the Asian cultural context, we perceive marriage as the highest achievement we can obtain. Often, we are torn between our dreams and this generational duty ⛓️.

But we have certainly evolved, and to reconstitute a new equilibrium, we must commit to ourselves first 🤗. For me, this means committing to my art 😌❤️.

I reckon, a DIVA is an Opulent Bitch. Wearable art should not be confused with beautiful garments simply made to be worn. Even when both appear during Fashion Week.

@andreabrocca ‘s Alta Moda creations are sculptures for the body: art pieces that transform the wearer into part of the artwork itself. What to wear to become a diva. And well said, “an opulent bitch” is the definition of a Diva.

Breaking down the @amfar Gala Venezia experience:

Water taxi at golden hour. The ultimate Venetian dream.

Cocktails, auction previews, familiar faces @aliiaroza and new friends @j.r.savet.

Absolutely gagging over meeting and speaking with my idol @lalamichmich.

A beautiful dinner while watching a legendary auctioneer @simondepury at work. Holding my breath between bids, wondering if that really was the last one.

@pamelaanderson sharing her story with a level of vulnerability that genuinely inspired me.

My absolute highlight as an artist was watching Marina Abramović @abramovicinstitute receive the Award of Inspiration. Despite all the resistance she faced, she created something entirely her own, that had never existed before, inspiring generations of artists and women to follow their own path.

And experiencing @beberexha this close, from the stage straight into the crowd, made for the ultimate finale to the night.

Ending it all with a midnight swim in a dreamy water taxi ride back through Venice.

Art, glamour, vulnerability, suspense and celebration. What a night.
