My Dad met my Mom while racing a 356 in 1961. Custodian and occasional Vintage Racer of two 356 Speedsters and 356 Roadster.

We brought the #191 back to honor the legacy of Bill Hewitt and Bob Herda! They raced the #191 at Laguna Seca from 1956 to 1965!

Here is a pic of Bill Hewitt near the front of the grid at Laguna seca in the SCCA regionals on October 22, 1960 where he placed 4th overall.

Both Bill and Bob were with us at the track, in spirit, this week! And they both helped us to bring the #191 back to the front of the grid again at Laguna Seca!

First ever overall win today in the John Morton Trophy at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion!

Super unexpected. We had an 8am start, and the track was wet in many places. I was concerned and hoped the track would dry out. Turns out it played to my advantage as there was chaos all around with multiple spins! Two spins and an engine seize helped me to get in front!

Big thanks to my team @downnathan!!!

And thanks to @alech491 for uploading his videos so fast! 🤣 (and sharing them!)

Honored to have been able to beat Billy and make the podium behind Cameron and Hiroki!

Most importantly, Mary Hewitt, the wife of the very first owner and racer, Bill Hewitt, was able to be there and see her husbands 356 #speedster return to the podium after so many years.

It was an emotional moment to see the joy on her face!

Feature race. I’m trying to catch Billy Taylor in his Alfa.

Lap 7 - we finally hit TRAFFIC! We both pass one car, but on the second car in turn 11, I am able to get by Billy down the main straight!

What you can’t see if he is on my tail the rest of the lap until we get slowed down by traffic at turn 6 and I am then able to get away!

Green flag and lap 1 of the Feature Race of the John Morton trophy at the #rolexmontereymotorsportreunion

I start in 3rd position. At the start, Billy Taylor gets a good jump! I follow him in his super fast Alfa for the first lap!

At the end of the first lap, @55alleggerita gets by me for 3rd place!

Stay tuned. @55alleggerita gets by Billy Taylor. So, it is Billy and I going for 3rd place and a podium! And guess what….TRAFFIC IS COMING!

Uh-OH! TRAFFIC AHEAD! Seven cars just ahead in a group and I’m trying to hold Billy Taylor off right behind me!

This is 7 laps into our 10 lap Qualifying Race of the John Morton trophy

Check out turn 10! I go around the outside of 2 cars and Billy Taylor just pulls an amazing pass to get by all 3 of us on the inside! WELL DONE!

Green flag and start of the Qualifying Friday Race of the John Morton trophy

I start 3rd behind Cameron Healy in his Pooper and Billy Taylor in his beautiful Alfa! Billy misses a shift, and I get a clean lap into second place

At the end of the lap, I make a mistake and get a poor start down the main straight! After getting a gap, I let Billy close up to me!

Coming up in next video - TRAFFIC
