Had a blast these last few days fishing with @3atingbug5 from @momjeans_ca!! We faced all the elements and caught some snow pakwe 🐟❄️ We even serenaded the fish with some renditions of Rod Stewart.

As someone who has seen Mom Jeans twice, I highly recommend going to a show and supporting their music. Eric is now officially part of the Pakwe Fan Club! by @3atingbug5

Proof of life post:
I started fishing again almost 2 years ago after not having touched a rod in roughly 15 years. Post-covid rabbit holes led to an affinity for catch-and-cook style YouTube videos and I was particularly drawn to/interested in west-coast steelheaders and the fish that make them so completely obsessed. It took a couple seasons but I finally got the opportunity to target the fish that inspired me to even get my line in the water again let alone pick up a fly rod, and we managed to hook into some really special fish. Good start to 2026 and far from the last cold days that I’ll spend chasing a bite from one of these silver bullets

Sometimes magic just happens. Linked up with @jcig_ and @setsetset_nevermind for a sneaky few hours before soundcheck and boy did we ever have some fun. Fish gods saw fit for us to hook into this big beautiful wild brown trout. My first ever brown, first ever wild fish, and first ever fight on a fly rod. Some anglers spend a lifetime chasing this experience and we crushed out some of the coolest fishing I’ve ever seen on a Tuesday morning before work.
