I had so much fun in @elgounafilmfestivalofficial this year. Watched so many good films and met lots of interesting people.
This year is very special for me because it marks a whole decade of living in the US. To be invited back to my home country with an American film it feels a bit wild. Thank you Gouna for the warm reception taken in El Gouna, مهرجان الجونه السينمائي by @3otared

To make films, you have to be deeply passionate, fully committed, and convinced your story is worth the time, the struggle, the sacrifice. I never imagined how difficult this path would be, how heavy it could feel at times. But every single moment was worth it. Dreams of Dendara premiered at the Luxor film festival winning best short film for its 15th edition. It all started during Covid, my life changed. It was only in that unexpected stillness, with all that time suddenly mine, that I could truly reflect on my love for movies. For the first time, I allowed myself to dream of becoming a storyteller beyond music, which has always been my original world. I wanted to bring visuals to life, to weave together images, sounds and stories into something meaningful. Four years of learning, watching, writing, and rewriting… four years, including two filled with rejection from production companies who called my film too dreamy, too ambitious. “Dreams of Dendara” would not exist without those incredible talents, those beautiful souls, true artists, an amazing producer, and, above all, a blessing from above.thank you all from all my heart. Dreams of Dendara is poetic journey into memory, identity and the unseen voices that shape who we become. This is not only a story , it’s a feeling, a ritual and a passage toward freedom. The film will premiere @luxorafricanfilmfestival on the 2nd of April. #dreamsofdendara #ancientegypt #womenvoices #egyptiancinema #filmjourney by @3otared

Just when you think you found comfort, it drowns you.
Searching for home is a long painful journey, but one that, I think, starts within us as we carry it with us.

A massive thank-you to the team who made this artistic work come to life:

IT’S OUT!!! 🎬💥
The Oh Ma Demeure music video is finally here and I’m screaming!!!
We filmed this in the desert under the wildest skies, chasing a vision that felt bigger than me.
Every frame is a piece of my heart — raw, cinematic, full of spirit.

This isn’t just a video. It’s a feeling.
Go watch it! Feel it!!

I’m heartbroken by what happened back home. My home is aching and none of us is okay. We’re fragmented and still trying to hold on to some form of home within us.

This song and music video is not only a personal story but also a collective one. It is a reflection of the agony and loss, and the resilience and love we carry with us even after we depart from the physical place we once knew as “home.” I send a prayer to my brothers and sisters who have left us and the ones who are still with us. ❤️‍🩹
