Blame it on the rain! ☔️

Plans changed, but the mindset didn’t! 💪 These girls have weathered the storm, stepped up for their community, and shown what real strength looks like.

Ready to kick off the season this week! 🔥 Huge THANK YOU to @3pnavarre for opening your doors and giving these girls a place to come together, lift heavy, and get back to what they love! ❤️

STRONG IN THE WEIGHT ROOM. STRONGER TOGETHER. NAVARRE STRONG! ❤️🔥

At this meet although It did not go my way I learned that I can choose to give up after failure so I don't have to go through the struggle again or I continue chasing my dreams. I chose the 2nd option every time because I know that no matter how bad of a failure it is it all becomes experience for the bigger picture, and trying will of made me a better man no matter the outcome compared to if I gave up on myself.

Bryson Brown medals in his Junior Pan American Championship debut! 🥈🥉🇺🇸

Bryson (70 kg) made three lifts, topping out at 132 kg in the snatch (1 kilo shy of his personal record), and 154 kg in the CJ (1 kilo shy of his personal best) for a 286 kg total (2 kilos from personal best). His snatch earned him silver, he finished fifth in the CJ, and third overall in the total with those efforts.

This was just the second international competition for Brown following the British Championships back in May of this year. Today’s total was just three kilos shy of the USAW junior “A” standard and is a 27 kg improvement from the last time he went overseas for Team USA.

I failed a 130 clean and jerk Monday before the meet and immediately started thinking I wouldn’t even compete and debated withdrawing. My coach calmed me down and we went into the meet only looking to have fun and not even hit any numbers, next thing I knew I hit 2 all time prs after almost 2 years of on and off injury. Jesus is the only way I think any of this was possible, I couldn’t have been surrounded with better people or have recovered from injuries without the lord, I am so grateful to everyone that has supported me.
