For context we were chasing down( catching up to) his favorite uncle on a run. But when we caught up I didn’t let Kylo run up and nip his butt, so he was throwing a tissy tantrum. All that work and no fun 😂

Kylo and I having a full conversation today about why this valley is a special place to us . When it was obvious Granites time was close I brought him here to be in snow one last time. Then completely by chance this was the last real hike I took Kaia on , on a random Saturday last Fall and I lost her by the following Thursday. My Grandpa used to bring my siblings and I here all the time to fish ( and I would bring my dog Granite) lots of special memories here 💙

Kylo is what you would call a stage 5 clinger. Using the bathroom? He’s right there. In bed? Great let’s snuggle up. Car ride? He’ll take shot gun . Random camping spot ? He will pee on the perimeter then post up right next to me. Swimming? He’s either swimming next to me or trying to dragg me back to shore. Bathtub? 🛀 well you see 😂

Two high energy dogs on a random Wednesday morning walky, that became a sprint because we underestimated how far a certain detour would take. So this was a a 2 mile frolic with lots of swimming, and then we covered the next two miles in under 14 minutes because I had an appointment 😬😂

Kylo decided tonight that the stuffy he’s kept nice and played with gently for several months…had seen its last day 😂 that’s ok Freya destroyed hers in the first 20 minutes she had it . So actually that’s a decent life span
