Day 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 of my #favoriteclinks

As I mentioned last week, this has been very difficult. As someone who absolutely loves @theclinkroom hiphop collabs, I figured to do a run based on my favorites.

Tape Eaters - the OG, Andreas and @pac0naut by Layne and Aurélian
Boogiemen: The New Jam - OG by @40swords and the pac0naut remix
BOOMbox - Layne and Aurélian OG with the Paco remix
Two turntables and a mic - Layne and Aurélian
Old Skull - @jacobovidal_r
Spitfire - Layne and Aurélian

Listen, that Layne and Aurélian run of hiphop dopeness was music to our eyes, that’s why @itsblazerock and I did an entire Launch Angle project based on these.

My favorite out of ALL these though? It’s the super underrated Spitfire. That hat is just pure freshness.

Headed to the final countdown. by @40swords

Double up on @favoriteclinks with @theclinkroom ! So, music related hats, yes. Also, ninja / warrior / samurai related hats? Yes please!

Almost wore this with my Sakuranami tee yesterday - QuickDraws “Foundation” by my dude @40swords

Regardless how you feel about the side hit, this one is one of my favorites from the Foundation pack.

Next up - Shinobi Kong by @flanaganstudios and @clinkertaylor - nothing but pure fire and I said this one might be a daily driver. It has been so far. by @40swords

Today’s prompt was to draw Dr. Doom in your own unique style. I can only imagine the type of therapist. Our old buddy Victor would be if given the chance 🤔For me, it’s Dr. Doom and Darth Vader as coolest pop culture villains ever. Looking forward to the film. by @40swords

Today’s prompt was do your interpretation of the Cryptid, the jersey Devil. This seemed like the most fun way to do it. Although I’ve never laced up a pair of skates, I’d like to think I would’ve enjoyed playing hockey or been decent at it. I guess there’s something great about the imagery. I love the uniforms and the equipment and stuff. It’s fun to draw as well. #drawordieclub by @40swords

This….this was a labor of love right here. I got challenged to pick a designer in the Clink Room Buy / Sell / Trade Facebook group and the first one I could think of was @40swords so that’s who I will cover, BUT here’s a pic you probably won’t see from too many collectors: the quadfecta of Boogiemen from left to right: Brotherly Fresh Colorway in Maroon, the 2.0 mint repop, the OG in sky blue with the crossed pencils in the back and the Hat Club Icy remix.

All four. I’m feeling a little bit like Thanos up in here. by @40swords

Never seen any of the movies, I only really know Danny Trejo as Tortuga from breaking bad… I put the dice to use and this is what I had to do. Just recently finished out another sketchbook, very satisfying feeling. #drawordieclub by @40swords

Still drawing. I thought this was kind of fun, and I usually haven’t been liking the “draw what you see“ prompts because it seems like I’m trying too hard to see something… but this one I saw right off the bat. Maybe because the subject was clouds and that makes my mind spin a little bit more imaginatively. #drawordieclub by @40swords
