Electric Fountain in Reservoir Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana
This fountain is equipped to throw water twenty-five feet into the air. The color effects are secured by a battery of thirty vari-colored floodlights. This fountain was donated to the city of Fort Wayne by the General Electric Company.

ELEANOR POWELL
Vedette - Metro Goldwyn Mayer

Eleanor Powell - born November 21, 1912 in Springfield Massachusetts; died February 11, 1982 in Beverly Hills, California.
From Wikipedia:
"Best remembered for her tap dance numbers in musical films in the 1930s and 1940s, (Eleanor Powell) was one of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's top dancing stars during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Powell appeared in vaudeville, on Broadway, and most prominently, in a series of movie musical vehicles tailored especially to showcase her dance talents, including "Born to Dance" (1936), Broadway Melody of 1938" (1937), "Rosslie" (1937), and "Broadway Melody of 1940" (1940). She retired from films in the mid-1940s but resurfaced for the occasional specialty dance scene in films such as "Thousands Cheer" (1943)."
Powell's final screen appearance was in "Dutchess of Idaho," a 1950 Esther Williams musical in which she appeared in a cameo role, playing herself.

The Paramount Theater in downtown Cheyenne, Wyoming first opened in 1905. A fire in the early 1980s destroyed the main screening room, but the entrance and lobby area have been turned into the charming Paramount Café.

The Grand Opening for The Strand Theater in downtown Rawlins, Wyoming took place on February 26, 1921, but the theater closed its doors back in 1984. The beautiful brick facade has already been restored, and efforts are underway to raise enough funds to restore the entire theater, which will offer film, performing arts, and entertainment for the people of south central Wyoming.

Time has not been kind to the motels on the west end of town in Rawlins, Wyoming. Some fancier, big name hotels have sprung up on the east end of town, which I assume is what decimated business at all the smaller motels to the west.
First is a "now and then" of the Sunset Motel (built in 1940, closed "prior to 2023") from an old postcard I found; second is the same thing, but for The Cliff Motor Lodge. I wasn't able to ascertain when the CML was built, or when it shut down.
Also pictured:The Sandman Motel has transitioned into long-term and permanent rental housing.
The Golden West Motel was built in 1965 and now sits abandoned and condemned.
