If this is a one plate challenge … well sad to say it’s hard to do because this new hotel’s Ramadan buffet is pretty packed with lots of delicious stuff.
After walking through the whole buffet, the highlight for us were the following:

- Rendang with lemang, ketupat palas
- Whole Lamb with aromatic rice
- Sate : lamb, beef & chicken
- Grilled lamb chop, kebab & beef
- Pengat pisang
- UBE sorbet
- Lempeng pisang

To be honest there were so many items we couldn’t try bec there was simply no more space in our tummies.

It’s great that Mont Kiara has this new hotel. They’re adding a whole new vibe to this year’s Ramadan with their Malaysian and Middle Eastern flavors.

GHD Pink Oct Girls’ Pickle Day @ Pickle Depot 🎀🎾✨

Key (possibly surprising) takeaways from the session:

👶 Having more children before age 35 and breastfeeding actually lowers your lifetime risk.

💊 Collagen supplements may increase risk of breast cancer as it artificially changes your hormones.

📋 If a close relative—for instance, your mom or sister—was diagnosed with breast cancer young, say at 35, you should start checking 10 years earlier, around 25.

🩸 If your period is regular, do a breast exam 7 to 10 days after the first day of your period. If irregular, pick the same day every month

🛑 Oral contraceptives (birth control pills/iud) can slightly increase your risk because of the estrogen, but that risk usually goes back down after you stop taking them.

👨 Whilst the risk of breast cancer commonly affects women age 40 and older, it can also affect men, as well as younger women.

Therefore, here’s a friendly reminder to perform monthly self-exams & clinical breast check-ups! 💭
