Okay fine, we'll stop gatekeeping 🙊 Say hello to three new menu items!

🥔 Breakfast poutine: House-roasted potatoes with caramelized onions, shredded cheese, bacon, and chipotle sauce.
🍞 French toast: Made with fluffy brioche bread and served with our house-made fruit compote, fresh fruit, and maple syrup.
🥪 BLT sandwich: Bacon, lettuce, and tomato on toasted sourdough or rye with garlic mayo. Kettle chips on the side.

Come be one of the first to try them, before everyone else is talking about it! taken in 541 Eatery & Exchange by @541barton

We've gotten a lot more followers since the last time we did this, so we thought it was about time we re-introduced ourselves! If you're new here, welcome to 541 👋

We’re a nonprofit cafe in Hamilton where food and community come together. Through our pay-it-forward button program, neighbours support neighbours in simple but meaningful ways.

Whether you’re here for breakfast, coffee, or a moment of connection, every person who walks through our doors helps make this place what it is. Thank you for being a part of this community ❤

We’re still reeling from Friday’s Thanksgiving Community Meal 🥹

Take a peek at how the day went, in snapshots! It started with a room full of familiar faces, a cozy meal, then a sweet dessert to finish things off right. We’re so thankful for this community and for every chance we get to gather like this 🧡 taken in 541 Eatery & Exchange by @541barton

Priorities ✨

When someone asks if you want to grab coffee, there's really only one correct response. Catch that same energy at the cafe! Tuesday to Saturday, 8am to 2pm.

Turns out when you run a cafe’s social media, you get a camera roll that’s 70% food, 25% staff being forced on camera, and 5% mystery blurry photos nobody remembers taking. We wouldn’t have it any other way. 😇 taken in 541 Eatery & Exchange by @541barton
