World Premiere! 🎥
Honoured to have my short film “Parontha” premiering at International South Asian Film Festival this year. This is close to my heart as it is about my grandmother. The film is about a Punjabi speaking Indian grandmother and how she shows her love to her English speaking Canadian grandkids through cooking food.

Come watch the premier as it plays in the segment called Shorts: Morning Storyland on September 27th 12:30pm at Guilford Landmark Cinema.

New Zealand was a dream. Both experiencing the land and the film festivals were unreal. Super proud of being awarded Special Mention at Doc Edge Film Festival and being a finalist at New Zealand Mountain Film and Book Festival. Proud of our team for the work that was done and super excited for the future! taken in New Zealand by @5yardproductions

The trailer for Race Be Run, our short film about Jon Nabbs’ (@kiwi.battler) run all across Canada to raise money for cancer search in honor of his family.
.
We've been working on this film steadily since the spring when we discovered Jon online, and then on the side of the road as he passed through Hope and Chilliwack! @richardrcarey and @prabhsphotography picked up their gear and followed him all the way to Victoria on the last leg of his journey. And the more we followed him, the more we learned what this run really meant to him and the people that follow him, either online or on foot.
.
Come out and see a private screening on Nov 10 at the Welldon Centre in Surrey, or stay tuned for our film fund to help support our next feat with Jon!
Tickets for sale in the link in my bio. The proceeds will go towards the feature length documentary… to be announced soon after! taken in Vancouver, British Columbia by @5yardproductions
