Two film World Premieres! Honoured to have both short films Crowned Athletes and Parontha premiering at the International South Asian Film Festival. Here is the trailer for the 5 years project called Crowned Athletes.

This film follows 4 elite athletes who have represented Canada on an international stage. What made them so inspiring wasn’t just their accolades but their ability to stay in their faith while doing what they love.

Come watch Crowned Athletes at the closing night of iSAFF on September 27th

New Zealand was a dream. Both experiencing the land and the film festivals were unreal. Super proud of being awarded Special Mention at Doc Edge Film Festival and being a finalist at New Zealand Mountain Film and Book Festival. Proud of our team for the work that was done and super excited for the future!

The trailer for Race Be Run, our short film about Jon Nabbs’ (@kiwi.battler) run all across Canada to raise money for cancer search in honor of his family.
.
We've been working on this film steadily since the spring when we discovered Jon online, and then on the side of the road as he passed through Hope and Chilliwack! @richardrcarey and @prabhsphotography picked up their gear and followed him all the way to Victoria on the last leg of his journey. And the more we followed him, the more we learned what this run really meant to him and the people that follow him, either online or on foot.
.
Come out and see a private screening on Nov 10 at the Welldon Centre in Surrey, or stay tuned for our film fund to help support our next feat with Jon!
Tickets for sale in the link in my bio. The proceeds will go towards the feature length documentary… to be announced soon after!

Hello! If you're new to my page, let me re-introduce myself:)

My name is Paaras Kaur. My intention behind starting this page was to help anyone feeling oppressed to lift themselves up by inspiring them to focus on strengthening their love for themselves by exploring what gives them mental, emotional, physical strength. Fitness has always been my go to, but weightlifting and crossfit (both training/coaching) served as a conduit through which I gained mental strength to make very big changes in my life for ME; not for anyone else, for the first time.

I grew up in a generation of culturally oppressed females, not being allowed to express myself, explore my own interests and definitely not being encouraged to use my voice. This negative belief system became my inner voice. After 3 decades plus change of walking around thinking this was my truth, I was blessed with some clarity. I broke out and started to leave everything keeping me from fulfilling my purpose. I like to keep to myself because I started to fall in love with what I truly am (a speck of dust of the Universe). I used to dread being alone and now I love being with myself everyday and recognize the infinite possibilities of having an open mind and perspective. The more I ground myself, sit with myself, the more blessings I receive🙏🏽

I am a regulated, licensed Naturopathic Physician and embrace this title. The Foreparents of Naturopathic Medicine in BC fought for the title of Doctor for us and I don't appreciate being called a Naturopath. I am a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine with 10 years of postgraduate education and many certifications under my belt and this year, 12 years of practice experience as well. I've known I wanted to be a healer since I was 3. There has never been a doubt in my mind of what I wanted to be when I grew up. I've always just wanted to help people. This has not changed one bit.

If you see me in practice, at the gym, or anywhere - I value listening to your story, I appreciate what you teach me through your life experience and hope with my purest intentions to help you in some way, shape or form to better achieve balance.

Thank you for reading🙏🏽❤
