Water mitigation effort last Friday ran into extra time. Property owners sealed this with plywood, wasn’t worth replacing the bulkhead so decided to make it water tight and seal it completely. 9 bags of cement - 720lbs - had to go get 4 more at 5p on a Friday. Short Grass holds less leaves 🍁 And makes them easier to blow/rake move. Especially once matted down by rain.

Need custom blinds cut? Yeah we do that with the 10” 84 tooth aluminum composite material blade. Giving that factory edge. Needed to delete the hinge marks after reversing the swing. Also, following the electrician, patch and plaster, reused and installed original baseboard. I then scabbed in the gap in the bottom of the trim, since the new floor is lower than old. With precision craftsmanship unparalleled among modern handymen.. if I do say so myself. Painter will make it disappeared. @617handyman

Tenant reports water leak during storm. Upon immediate inspection determined the window above was riddled with algae and not properly caulked, flashed or waterproofed. Also gutter was dislodged and clogged. Was able to apply caulking to put a “bandaid” on leak for today. Instructed tenant to monitor if water persists. And will revisit for proper repair once dry. Spackle, paint trim and exterior waterproofing. Yeah we do that! 617Handyman

HOA required securement of rear gate. I was able to acquire, up-cycle and reuse an existing steel gate and custom fit it into their existing steel infrastructure- saving these homeowners hundreds - under contract and under budget.
