Raumstrategien presents UNDER THE TABLE: a multidimensional installation that is activated through collaborative artistic, culinary, and performative actions and shared with the audience during the three-day AMAN AMAN!
festival. In collaboration with the Goethe-Institut, AMAN AMAN! opens a transcultural space
at SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA in Berlin, where the interwoven echoes of the Eastern
Mediterranean unfold.

Here, the set table is understood not merely as a place for eating, but as a social, sensory,
and political space for exchange. It facilitates long conversations, shared experiences, and
debates on social, personal, and cultural issues. The table serves as a connecting element
between people of diverse backgrounds and can simultaneously be interpreted as a fragile
form of complex togetherness.

UNDER THE TABLE explores these dynamics of visibility and invisibility, community, and
fragmentation, as well as memory and transformation within an installation setting that
conceives of the table as a social resonant space and as a mirror of political, cultural, and
emotional states.
