Under the Table: The table is reset as part of Berlin Art Week! Created by Viron Erol Vert with students of Kunsthochschule Weißensee (Beo Da Silva, Dré Philippens, Léna Serdjebi, Zéna Chite) Under the Table is a multidimensional installation that reimagines Eastern Mediterranean table cultures as a fragile, cyclical space of destruction, purification, and renewal. It was first commissioned for AMAN AMAN Berlin (12.-14.06.2026). For Berlin Art Week, the table comes life once more, this time with an activation by Dafni Rüde (dafni_ruede) in collaboration with BALKAN RADIKAL (@Balkan_radikal) & Dalila Daut (dada__ist) On Thursday 10.09.2026 at 18:00, Dalila invites guests to a coffee-ground reading, creating a space for reflection, connection, and attentive listening. Afterwards, DJ Da-Da, of Dancing Ambiance fame, will cook up and perform a 90 minute tasting menu of bedroom-acclaimed producers, outernational hits, and dry-aged psychedelica. The installation can be visited on both Friday 11. + Saturday 12. from 18:00 onwards. 📍 @sinematranstopia (Berlin) FREE ENTRY! @viron_erol_vert @beoberlin @dancingambiance zena_ch_ @7hoppla6 @raumstrategien @kunsthochschuleberlin @balkan_radikal @dada___ist @dancingambiance @dafni_ruede

That was AMAN AMAN Berlin! Looking back at three days of filled with music, film, food, and conversation. From polyphonic Balkan singing, rembetiko and Anatolian folk traditions to drag cabaret, listening sessions, archival films, lectures and shared meals, we collectively explored the intertwined histories of migration, exile, labour, solidarity and cultural exchange across the Eastern Mediterranean and beyond. A heartfelt thank you to all artists, speakers, partners, and visitors who helped create such a generous and vibrant space of encounter. AMAN AMAN now journeys on, moving between Athens, Berlin, Izmir, Thessaloniki, Munich, and Istanbul. Raumstrategien presents UNDER THE TABLE: a multidimensional installation that is activated through collaborative artistic, culinary, and performative actions and shared with the audience during the three-day AMAN AMAN! festival. In collaboration with the Goethe-Institut, AMAN AMAN! opens a transcultural space at SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA in Berlin, where the interwoven echoes of the Eastern Mediterranean unfold. Here, the set table is understood not merely as a place for eating, but as a social, sensory, and political space for exchange. It facilitates long conversations, shared experiences, and debates on social, personal, and cultural issues. The table serves as a connecting element between people of diverse backgrounds and can simultaneously be interpreted as a fragile form of complex togetherness. UNDER THE TABLE explores these dynamics of visibility and invisibility, community, and fragmentation, as well as memory and transformation within an installation setting that conceives of the table as a social resonant space and as a mirror of political, cultural, and emotional states. @sinematranstopia @viron_erol_vert @beoberlin, @dancingambiance, @7hoppla6, @zena_ch_

We are happy to share the documentation of “Ich hab’ noch einen Koffer in Berlin…” - a group exhibition emerging from Viron Erol Vert’s seminar I Still Have a Suitcase in Berlin. Master students from KHB (Raumstrategien) explore the suitcase as vessel of memory, movement, identity, and belonging — oscillating between voluntary travel and forced migration, personal archives and collective histories. Rather than aiming for a comprehensive overview or a collection of readymades, the selection privileges divergent and sometimes contradictory readings, allowing the works to resonate through proximity rather than uniform interpretation. Visitors encountered materialized, spatial and virtual propositions, were invited to open, unfold, and inhabit each contribution as if unzipping a suitcase full of stories, traces, and gestures. Displaying works from: Bita Asadi, Lili Christiane, Ruoming Zhao, Claudia H, Dré Philippens, Haonan Liu, MN Reyna, léna serdjebi & Beo Da Silva. Documentation by: @sisters_lumiere 🧳 Duration: 5.-13. Feb 2026 📍 Foyer KHB Entrance Bühringstraße 20, 13086 Berlin #KHB #Raumstrategien #GroupExhibition #BerlinArt #SuitcaseStories

Join us for the opening of “not yet” Much has been said about ruins. One thing feels certain: the end of the world is not ahead of us; it has already happened. “not yet” emerges as an emplacement that holds open a tense, generative interval: a time of potential, struggle, and invention, where what is yet to come is neither fixed nor fully disclosed, but continuously made. The works gathered here approach dreaming as an active practice, invested in what remains possible, what is already stirring, what refuses to be concluded. Faced with narratives of the end of the world, possibility flickers.
Realized within the context of Lerato Shadi’s WiSe 2026 seminar:
