Why is everybody and her sister shopping thrift stores for men’s shirts to upcycle these days?

Because it’s a really fun way to take something old and make it new again.

Wouldn’t it be easier to just buy fabric? Maybe ….if you can even find nice fabric these days. Truth is that ever since apparel manufacturing moved overseas, and most of the sewing stores shut down, shopping for material isn’t easy.

I know, I get it, the Halloween candy just hit the shops. BUT…..if you know that your holiday list will be long, and you see something sort of perfect, it feels so good to check it off of your list!

Our theme this week at @theboutiquedarlings is “Vintage Vibes” so of course it was the best opportunity to pull out my stash! It’s getting harder and harder to source materials…I shop the iconic Todd Farm Flea every Sunday and the pickings are truly getting slim. Thankful for the stock I’ve collected. by @7pinedesign
