Emma and I are sending early First Communion blessings to her dear friend Charlotte this morning!

I had the honor photographing Charlotte in the most exquisitely sewn First Communion gown, handmade by my talented friend Janet Allen Vandermeulen, owner of the 7 Pine Design Studio. This one-of-a-kind, intricately-beaded dress was made to Charlotte's exact measurements and fits like a glove. I don't think I've ever seen a lovelier dress for a Catholic First Communion.

Janet outdid herself by sewing not one, but TWO incredible dresses, so we let Emma model the second. I think it would make the sweetest flower girl dress!
