your law school résumé doesn’t need to fit your entire life onto one page. it needs to make your experience easy to find and easy to read.

swipe for a formatting check, from margins and section headings to bullet points and dates. before you submit, check each school’s requirements and preview the final pdf.

save this for your last résumé review.

when should you submit your law school applications? it depends on what you could gain by waiting…

in this example, applying to emory in october instead of december raised one applicant’s predicted chance of acceptance or waitlist from 26% to 34%. but if a stronger lsat score is within reach, taking more time to prepare may help more than submitting early.

swipe to see how timing changes the prediction, then check your target schools’ medians before choosing your date ➡️

a great law school personal statement does more than tell admissions officers what you’ve done. it shows how your experiences changed the way you think.

this example starts with a vivid scene, follows a shift in perspective, and ends with a clearer understanding of why the writer wants to practice law.

swipe to read it, then save it for when you’re working on your own draft. what moment changed the way you see the law?

the t14 isn’t necessarily the top 14 right now.

it’s the name for 14 law schools that dominated the rankings for decades. the schools at the top today can change, but the name stuck.

did you think t14 meant this year’s top 14?
