Last Saturday I completed my first ultramarathon! 😱 50 miles in Oregon around Mount Hood. Wy’East Wonder by @gobeyondracing was scenic and well organized. 💯 recommend this race. I’ve been surrounded by inspiring ultra runners for years and I finally decided to give it a go. Thanks to Anna Albrecht at @athletic_endeavors_coaching for getting me ready in less than two months! I’m still processing the experience. It was definitely hard at the end, I definitely prayed to Jesus a lot. At first it was all gratitude then that slowly turned to a request for pain relief, 😆. I feel so blessed to be able@to do these things, that my body can do it and that I have the support of my family. And just like that @mylaaa.b is 16 years old. Happy Birthday Lieverd. It’s been so fun seeing you grow from an adorable big blue eyed toddler to a beautiful young woman. I love how funny and quick witted you are, you’re a great friend, have a heart for children, are on a journey getting closer to Jesus and just love this island and the beauty it surrounds us with every day.
