I’m a week out from laparoscopic surgery, so giving all the shapes I’ve been seeing and wanting to do a try before I’m on restriction and unable to use my core for awhile. Then of course it’s will be more of rehabbing, so I imagine some of my favorites knots and floats and binds- well it will be a little bit.

It’s Yogi See Yogi Do Saturday!! 💫

Hurricane Lala is passing by our island as we speak. Hoping all are doing okay and the storm passes through with minimal damage to our precious island. I think my youngest will always remember his 9th birthday because of this storm🌧️

It’s been busy! My boys went back to school this week, my youngest turns 9 this weekend 🥳 and there is a possible tropical storm headed our way over here on the Big Island (still hoping it tracks more south 🤞).

Finally had a few minutes to try this cool shape I’ve been seeing float around IG all week.

I played this song for my youngest son and told him how much I loved it. He asked his piano teacher if she would help him learn it and then he played it for me. Now isn’t that something ☀️☺️

I was looking through pictures of my fellow shape makers yesterday and came upon @bayoubornyogi talking about the importance of being uncomfortable— I thought hey man, she’s right! I’ve always been awful at pistol squats, so I it seemed even more important that I should not skip this weeks #WednesdayWheelParty

Keeping things uncomfortable and working in dark areas is where it’s at, am I right?

Random a name popped up in my feed from when I first joined IG back in I think 2013 or 2014 and found this little group called @leagueofextraordinaryyogis I immediately just jumped right in and started trying their poses no idea I was so in over my head, just going for it😂💛 they pushed boundaries I didn’t know I had and I came to believe anything with my body is possible if I just don’t give up (I guess like anything in life really) Anyways, it took me down a rabbit hole of remembering those old challenges and how there are still some familiar faces from those times and how cool it is we bump into each other on these Saturdays after all these years 💕
