New Zealand was a dream. Both experiencing the land and the film festivals were unreal. Super proud of being awarded Special Mention at Doc Edge Film Festival and being a finalist at New Zealand Mountain Film and Book Festival. Proud of our team for the work that was done and super excited for the future! taken in New Zealand by @99_prabhlems

From an AOD hangout to a film festival run.
Robin and I met Nathan and Richard at an AOD meetup in 2024 where we instantly clicked. After meeting, we all said that one day we would film a short documentary together. A week later, Richard saw a post about Jon Nabbs running across Canada and asked if anyone was free with a day’s notice to film this story (in the pissing rain), in which of course I said yes. We didn’t even have Jon’s phone number when Richard and I decided to drive to Hope, BC to try to find him running.

Out of that came a beautiful short documentary that we were fortunate enough to tell. Thank you Jon for sharing your vulnerability and story.

We are proud to announce that “Race be run” will be showing at both Doc Edge New Zealand and New Zealand Mountain Film and Book Festival next month! by @99_prabhlems

In grade 10, I moved to Langley after my parents divorce. With all the whirlwind and chaos that was brought, I gained a significant amount of weight and needed a change. I was introduced to Karate and instantly fell in love with it. @sempaitina brought me in with open arms and was a mom to me. I knew no matter how my life was, she was there to help me. When I started karate, I couldn’t do single push up. Through discipline and hard work, I was able to get my first degree black belt through a 21 hour grading. It was then that I knew that I would do martial arts for the rest of my life. Many people know about my boxing and Jiu Jitsu, but karate will always be my foundation. From years of teaching, I fell in love with it over and over again. Thank you to Shihan Andy for allowing me to train with you and for believing in me. Last week, I was able to be promoted to third degree, Sandan, in Shotokan Karate-do. Thank you for everyone who has been with me along the journey. Love, Sensei Prabhjit Singh.

Good rounds, tough rounds, bad rounds, all end with a fist bump.

What an amazing trip and one that will truly only happen once in a lifetime. Haven’t had a lot of time to post since being back but I’m still in shock that I was able to go. Thank you @bibianofernandes for letting me come capture but more importantly witness your ONE hall of fame. Lots of people talk about being humble and caring but you just show it. Our (super) early conversations will never be forgotten. Can’t wait to come back to Japan! 🇯🇵 Short documentary coming soon! taken in Saitama Super Arena by @99_prabhlems

The trailer for Race Be Run, our short film about Jon Nabbs’ run all across Canada to raise money for cancer search in honor of his family.
.
We've been working on this film steadily since the spring when we discovered Jon online, and then on the side of the road as he passed through Hope and Chilliwack! Richard Carey and I picked up our gear and followed him all the way to Victoria on the last leg of his journey. And the more we followed him, the more we learned what this run really meant to him and the people that follow him, either online or on foot.
.
Come out and see the premiere on Nov 10 at the Wellden Centre in Surrey, or stay tuned for our film fund to help support our next feat with Jon!
