We’re asking Kirklees Council to fully refurbish and modernise the outdoor gym at Greenhead Park.
It should be safe, inclusive and high‑quality for all ages, genders, abilities and fitness levels – from beginners and families to the local calisthenics community.
We want:
• Better calisthenics equipment (pull‑up bars, parallel bars, dip bars, monkey bars, different‑height bars)
•Space and kit for general fitness, mobility and strength
•Safe surfacing, clear instructions and proper maintenance
•Local users consulted on what’s installed
Greenhead Park deserves an outdoor gym Huddersfield can be proud of.
