🚨 Update on the Greenhead Park outdoor gym petition 🚨
Local councillors have now reached out to discuss the petition and ideas for improving the outdoor gym. This is a positive step, but we still need as much community support as possible.
The video shows older footage of equipment that the local calisthenics community had to use for a long time. That bar has now been removed, but it highlights why Greenhead Park needs a safe, modern and properly maintained outdoor gym for everyone.
If you use the park, live locally or support free fitness facilities, please sign and share the petition

Greenhead Park's outdoor gym is in rough shape rusty, worn out, and about 15 of us train here daily.

Scan the QR code and sign the petition, let's get this fixed 💪"

We’re asking Kirklees Council to fully refurbish and modernise the outdoor gym at Greenhead Park.
It should be safe, inclusive and high‑quality for all ages, genders, abilities and fitness levels – from beginners and families to the local calisthenics community.
We want:
• Better calisthenics equipment (pull‑up bars, parallel bars, dip bars, monkey bars, different‑height bars)
•Space and kit for general fitness, mobility and strength
•Safe surfacing, clear instructions and proper maintenance
•Local users consulted on what’s installed
Greenhead Park deserves an outdoor gym Huddersfield can be proud of.

Let me know in the comments if you can do this set UNBROKEN (without leaving the bar)

DS MU = Dead-stop Muscle Up = Start from a Dead hang, pause to deplete all the momentum then explosively pull yourself over the bar

The aim is to do this unbroken don’t worry if you have to break in between.
This was our finisher set of the day

I don’t post when I fail. I don’t post when I’m drained. But I still train on those days. This is what consistency actually looks like.
