My @themuddshow set from april with @laak.club is now out in the wild. It was a strange one to record, hands shaky and pretending to be calm while the decks felt like moving portals. I have to say, it turned out stranger and slower than expected, maybe because I was holding on it so tightly.

Grateful anyways for the chance to share some other frequencies than usual. Hope it takes you somewhere 🕳️ 🪞✨

Airy dreams 
The dream to travel to China and follow my tea journey was for many years just a conversation I had with family and friends. In my mind it was a beautiful vision, but at the same time it was still only a persistent thought. The thing with dreams for me is that they are very beautiful and mystic, but on the contrary they can also feel heavy and fearful.   The evening before I left when I had my final packing, I started feel very overwhelmed, worried if had prepared well enough and more unpleasant thoughts came up and when I finally arrived all I could say was; I can’t believe I’m here..  
ﾟ Why did I think this is impossible for me?  It’s been two weeks since I left Europe, and what I already learned from this is that dreams are only dreams if they have enough air to lightly breath into the unknown. The dream I had to travel did for a long actually resemble more of a dreamlike idea only filled with control.   The last days I visited tea houses, ate home-made dim sums, looked upon Lamma Island mountains, followed the butterflies and recorded nature sounds. These moments carved out a completely different dream from the one I had before my journey started. Allowing my dream to go further than what I thought was possible!   𓏲 by @_._robbin

Last Sunday lingered in the nicest way, filling cups and sharing all that I have learned about tea over the years with a circle of enthusiasts felt very rewarding. For the 3rd edition of GIS, we’re collaborating with @b__l__e__n__d.

Robbin’s journey with tea began when a Chinese tea master opened the door to a world she never knew existed. What started as curiosity soon became something much deeper. Through tea, she discovered layers of culture and meaning that mirrored her relationship with music—both grounded in listening, presence, and an openness to life’s subtle nuances.

As her path with tea unfolded, her respect for its history and the cultures surrounding it continued to grow. When she drinks tea, she feels connected to the people who live with the plants, who care for the land, and who protect the forests. Through taste, the mountains and riverbeds where the tea grows become present, deepening her connection and love for tea over time.

This journey led her to create blend, a project exploring the intersection of tea and music cultures, and cultivating spaces for shared experience and connection. Robbin’s dream is to keep learning from this ancient wisdom—deepening her practice both personally and in ways that can be shared with others.
