The one thing that can move your body without touching it, gives chills we can’t fake and we never see it coming to us. Here are five tracks that always give me goosebumps.

Human Mesh Dance - Thesecretnumbertwelve
Astraoum - Wash
Ontayso - Walk Your Way
Full Moon Fashions - Sea of Love
@mammo.works - Very Near

4 months ago to the day, I started a 4-days ride cooking for @lakedays.co‘s first creative residency at @hauserlengrund. It was also the first time for me to cook several days in a row in a setup like this and what a delight!! Trees were in bud, the lake water was still freezing, the sauna was on and the cats were setting the house rules.
Cooking while being surrounded by nature and creative spirits was a dream becoming true and is the most beautiful cooking experience I had so far - and by far. Part of it is the new fulfilling connections I could make and that I didn‘t even expect, @lauriehowald kombucha&more queen and suspicious photographer, @the.notoriousviv part of @freeefooorm and my biggest frog eggs fan and ++++ (list would be too long), @haskettprints most curious apprentice cook, @bethwalrond hidden forager and cook above her illustrator talent and my new climbing buddy… 😍😍😍

Forever grateful for all this @gabrielala.m, and @lisamariebosbach thank you for some of the photos (2, 5, 10, 16) 🫶

Some peaks of the menu :
- charred green&white asparagus on ajo verde, wild garlic flowers picked by them in the forest (how sweet), popped buckwheat
- the so-called „frog eggs“ starring pandan tapioca pearls (inspired by the thaï sweet yok manee), black sesame praline, coco whipped cream, roasted coconut flakes
- Udon noodles, tamarin roasted carrots, bamboo sprouts, spinach, tahini-based sauce
- parsley roots & pastinake soup and their peels‘ chips, green oil
- cheesy creamy polenta, stir-fried maitake & oyster mushrooms with parsley&garlic, roasted cashews
- kefta in tomatoe sauce with pilaf rice
Everything vegan.

Definitely willing to do more of this!

Sunday’s first Unfurl was filled with light, in every sense! ⋆✴︎

It was such a joy to see @noordspace come alive, filled with people arriving from all different corners. Some were drawn in by tea who discovered music, others the other way around. Meanwhile the sunlight was in tune with it all, with light passing between cups, conversations, ambient, jazz, more teas and your presence.

A big thank you to @chamoodstea for sharing your leaves & knowledge, to @rds_dl for his special selection of records, and @mariusrnrd for capturing all the magic on camera!

Airy dreams

The dream to travel to China and follow my tea journey was for many years just a conversation I had with family and friends. In my mind it was a beautiful vision, but at the same time it was still only a persistent thought. The thing with dreams for me is that they are very beautiful and mystic, but on the contrary they can also feel heavy and fearful.

The evening before I left when I had my final packing, I started feel very overwhelmed, worried if had prepared well enough and more unpleasant thoughts came up and when I finally arrived all I could say was; I can’t believe I’m here..

ﾟ
Why did I think this is impossible for me?

It’s been two weeks since I left Europe, and what I already learned from this is that dreams are only dreams if they have enough air to lightly breath into the unknown. The dream I had to travel did for a long actually resemble more of a dreamlike idea only filled with control.

The last days I visited tea houses, ate home-made dim sums, looked upon Lamma Island mountains, followed the butterflies and recorded nature sounds. These moments carved out a completely different dream from the one I had before my journey started. Allowing my dream to go further than what I thought was possible!

𓏲
