🚨🚨 PROUD BFF MOMENT 🚨🚨

IYKYK… the McKinney’s and Simpson’s are family. ❤️🇺🇸

We were incredibly proud to witness @chrismckinney96 being inducted into the Honorable Order of Saint Michael, one of the Army’s distinguished recognitions honoring leaders whose service, integrity, and lasting contributions have made a significant impact. There couldn’t be a more deserving recipient.

Over 35 years ago at our beloved Alabama A&M University, God connected our families, and we’ve been doing life together ever since.

Watching Chris grow from an ROTC cadet to retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel, and now continuing to shape the next generation as a JROTC instructor, has been an incredible journey to witness. He’s always been the kind of man who goes above and beyond.

This honor also reflects the sacrifices of my BFF Yaya, and my Goddaughter @_.lexsis . During Chris’s deployments, they spent summers with us, and we witnessed firsthand the strength, resilience, and sacrifices military families make. Their love and support have been an important part of Chris’s journey.

Chris, Yaya, and Alexis, we couldn’t be prouder. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor. We love you all and are grateful to celebrate this special moment with you.
