It took only a thousand years, but I'm finally sharing a bill alongside @_2012afterlife whose tastes in music, art, and memes served as a core survival mechanism as a way to cope with the harsh Florida sun.

Join us Friday, April 24th as he makes his way from NYC to Tacoma at @cider_cedar for a hodgepodge of musical selections. Expect post-punk, danceable 80's B-sides, overlooked modern classics, experimental pop, hiphop, and more. We will guarantee foottapping and perhaps even finger waggling as we attempt to pull a decade's worth of record digging and web forum slinging for you to enjoy. :) taken in Cider & Cedar by @_2012afterlife

@grips and @ifeellikedan , two of my favorite people, are my guests this week on @newtownradio.

My radio guests fall into two categories: people in electronic music who DJ and are a part of the scene, and my friends that don't necessarily call themselves DJs but have great taste in mainstream, obscure, weird, and/or banging music. This show is firmly in the second category.

Jabari aka JB aka @grips is always the dude you want on the aux at 1am, always finding the freshest and hardest hitting hip-hop and club bangers from deep on SoundCloud. He's also one of the funniest people I know.

Opening for Jabari I have Dan aka @ifeellikedan who needs absolutely zero introduction for anyone that knows him, but for those that don't know, he's our analog photo king who also happens to always know the perfect tune for the moment, always pulling from current hiphop, anime soundtrack, Rick Ross, and more, always stringing together sets that are fun and familiar but also deep and thoughtful.

You know the drill... 9pm to 11pm April 9. Link to the stream will be in my stories. If you want to pull up in person, DM me. I'm excited for this one. by @_2012afterlife

This week I secured a special one-off timeslot (Friday Apr 3 at 1pm) to make sure I get to host @nathanthedj while he's visiting NYC.

one of my favorite parts of hosting the radio show is having on anyone who was around the relatively small scene in Orlando, FL when I was first getting into digging for records and seeking out strange parties.

When I was living in Orlando, i'd always bump into him at small parties, and loved his posts sharing his appreciation for y2k era pop dance. I also remember having my mind opened by his fits and perspective on fashion and thrifting.

Tune in to @newtownradio at 1-3pm for a warmup from me, and an hour of Nathan tunes.

You can (and also should) catch him at @jupiter_disco this weekend with another Orlando OG @drupejam and BK's @fleet.dreams . by @_2012afterlife

Introducing: RECOVERY 💫

A new zone focused on atmospheric electronic music, emotional depth, and restraint, created by Ross 2012 and Wisecarver out of their shared passion for intimate spaces and club-adjacent sounds – dubbed-out delay trails, hazy ambient electronics, tactile sub bass, and classic grooves.

Our debut party kicks off on Saturday, March 28th, 6-10 pm at @bar.jade.bk, where we are joined by our first guest IT-XPO.

IT-XPO is an NYC-based musician originally from Chicago, whose recent release on the @superflux.nyc label and mixes for @kimochisound‘s ETC Radio showcase an intimate and considered take on the classic dub house formula, bringing to mind the spareness of Shinichi Atobe and efficiency of the Echocord label catalog.

Excited to share the evening with you, see you there!

A few weeks ago, @roiju_ 's @bodymethod_ label out of Boston released my friend @wisecarver__ s first release. It is very good !
