Summer 2026 was one of the best summers I've had in NYC (and Detroit!)

Can't wait to see what this fall and winter bring!

Big thanks to all the folks who came out to hang and dance with us.

Love to all and see you soon!

There used to be this dedicated and into it younger group in Orlando called @finessetrax. Here’s a clip from when they brought me out to DJ at @remixrecordshop, spinning a record from one of @luv_nipp’s many labels. This was February, 2019, before everything seemed to change.

They all moved away to various places, going on to do some impressive things I n NYC. I’m still here in Florida. Always down to connect with, play for, or just offer an ear and advice to young crews trying to do cool shit.

In fact, one of my big disappointments is there’s not more cross-pollination around these parts. Either we are increasingly the last of a dying breed and curious, interested younger generations are not coming up anymore or they’re just not as interested in seeking out and learning from what came before as I always was. I would look for the OGs, in Tallahassee, Orlando, and, eventually, St. Pete to learn from and work with. That’s the only way me career has been possible.

Anyway, I’ll be back in Orlando with one of the aforementioned OGs, @djjask, spinning vinyl once again at @alfies.hifi on August 1st. Hope to see all the heads I miss playing for and next-gen partygoers alike.

Extra thankful for skateboarding as of recent times. So here’s a dump of clips, people, places, and moments I’m thankful for because of it.

It took only a thousand years, but I'm finally sharing a bill alongside @_2012afterlife whose tastes in music, art, and memes served as a core survival mechanism as a way to cope with the harsh Florida sun.

Join us Friday, April 24th as he makes his way from NYC to Tacoma at @cider_cedar for a hodgepodge of musical selections. Expect post-punk, danceable 80's B-sides, overlooked modern classics, experimental pop, hiphop, and more. We will guarantee foottapping and perhaps even finger waggling as we attempt to pull a decade's worth of record digging and web forum slinging for you to enjoy. :)

🚨 DET<-> NYC Connection Inaugural night was well beyond my hope for the night. An absolutely magical night and the love and fun in the room was palpable.

Thank you to everyone who came including our family and friends from out of town who came to support the big night. And to everyone who stayed and danced for as long as you wanted and are so grateful to have hosted you.

All the videos and photos I've been sent by you all has been so awesome. And to see everyone having such a great time is the best.

@worldkrysis took excellent pics (7, 14, 17) that make us look REALLY cool. Thanks for that!

Big thanks to everyone who played on the billing:

Pittsburgh Pennsylvania 🌇
The people are kind, the pizza is raw, and the bartenders don’t give a fuck about giving you recommendations. There’s a warming small-big town feel. The greenery is plentiful and the architecture begs for convention in a stoic way. There’s almost a left behind feel to the city that is undermined by it’s ability to fend for itself. Spacious and easy to navigate, yet it still retains its own form of bustle. Sports fanaticism, blue collar idealism, and a strong sense of pride in one’s culture all emanate from the city. Pittsburgh is as impressive as it is overlooked. I’m honored to gain insight into the fabled yinzer delusion. Y’all may be frumpy, but the heart of this perennially industrious city beats with a strength that is worthy of admiration.
