To be stamped by your idol means something to this kid‼️ IYKYK Juice doesn’t show much emotion but this summer culminating into an undefeated season on the @uncledrewcircuit and winning the championship with his teammates was special for us as a family.

Still no offers on any level, but I’ve been telling him all summer “WE’RE RIGHT WHERE WE NEED TO BE.”

KEEP THE MAIN THING THE MAIN THING. 🎯🏀

You have to stay focused on what got you good in the first place if you want to maintain your success.

With success comes attention rankings, social media hype, agents, money, opportunities and everything else that comes with the game.

The worst thing you can do is start receiving that attention and take your eye off what created it.

THE WORK.

Your work will create the opportunities. Your job is to stick to the script.

Jason Coleman breaks down why young players have to stay focused as the attention starts coming.

Congratulations to my guy Jordan Johnson (@jjordann4) on receiving an invite to training camp with the Greensboro Swarm - @greensboroswarm (Charlotte Hornets’ NBA G League affiliate). @hornets

True definition of sticking to tha script and following the plan. We got back from the China tour and he committed to working out everyday. Targeted the Swarm local tryout with the intention of getting a training camp invite, so when I got the call from the Swarm GM about Jordan’s invite to training camp, I was excited like I got a contract 😂. Proud of you bro but the mission remains…🗣️STABLE.

Jason Coleman breaks down some of the biggest mistakes he sees parents make during the recruiting process.

One of the biggest? Trying to navigate everything alone.

Trust has to be earned — but at some point, you have to trust the right people to help guide you through a process that can be difficult to navigate by yourself.
