On August 8 at Dada Beijing, Elastic People & Bang Gong Soundsystem come together for an all-night-long back-to-back session, where four selectors stretch a shared musical language into something that can only exist in the moment. A conversation of energy and fluidity that lives in the space between records, in the tension before a transition, and in the energy that travels from booth to dancefloor and back again.

No fixed boundaries. Just sound in its most flexible form.

【 BBD selects 024: Kai.F 】

“我近几年的 Digging 方向主要以老歌为主，想努力挖掘那些可以谓之 Timeless 的逸品，所以这个 Set 也想分享一些各阶段对我影响比较深刻的作品：以 Deep、Trippy 的感觉为线索，所选的歌大多集中在80/90年代、2000年初以及其他几首颇为喜欢的近期作品，希望可以给到大家一个好的 Trip”。

This Friday January 23, FORMA welcomes Adam Collins to Zhaodai Club, Beijing. We kick off the year with a special night tracing the lineage of sound that defined an era and continues to move us forward. Adam Collins, part of the duo Omni A.M. and co-founder of Euphoria Records, stands as one of the true architects of minimal and tech house. Emerging from the golden era of late-90s vinyl culture, his sound evolved between Chicago’s Gramaphone Records and South London’s Swag Records — a transatlantic dialogue of groove, texture, and pure rhythm. Intricate, warm, and timeless, his music was widely played across the globe’s dancefloors, shaping the evolution of minimal house and influencing generations that followed.

Seven years in motion. Seven years of shaping frequencies, spaces, and moments.

As FORMA marks its seventh orbit around the sun, we invite @lizz_petre to take over! LIZZ is one of Romania’s leading artists, recognized for crafting a unique musical identity, rooted in subtlety, groove, and emotional depth. Over the years, he has developed a distinct style that navigates seamlessly between deep minimal textures, micro-house, darker electronic atmospheres, and dancefloor-driven rhythms.

Support by our very own @nigls & @_______kai.f , and Beijing’s new-generation artist ShengChou.
