YASSER MAJIDI
2000, Italy

My photographic practice is rooted in a search for belonging. Born into a Moroccan-Bosnian family, raised in Italy, and later settling in Norway, I’ve grown up navigating overlapping identities shaped by movement, memory, and distance. These layered cultural experiences inform both the themes I explore and the way I work. I approach photography as a way to trace what often escapes language: a feeling of home that shifts with time, the spaces between people, and the emotional weight of everyday gestures. I’m drawn to quiet moments, fragments of light, atmosphere, and stillness that hint at something unspoken. Rather than offering resolution, my images aim to hold space for complexity: of migration, disconnection, and longing. taken in Italy by @_______yasserrr
