Throughout their time at Bilder Nordic, our students not only develop the foundations of photographic practice, but also the confidence to shape and challenge their creative voice. Next up from the ROOTS exhibition is @shotbysabar . His project Daar is a personal exploration of home — not as a fixed place, but as a feeling scattered across countries, languages, and memories. Born to a Moroccan father and Bosnian mother, and raised in Italy before moving to Norway, Sabar captures quiet moments from Casablanca and Norway that speak to belonging, absence, and identity. Daar reflects how traces of home can be found in gestures, voices, or scents — even after years away.
