finally got to meet the man behind the music!! saying this concert was electric was an absolute understatement—aside from meeting someone who was a huge inspiration to pursuing percussion for as long as i have, i got to leave with so many new homies than which i knew before coming in. thanks rattpack for such an unforgettable experience ☮️❤️✌️

I am proud to announce that this summer, I will be marching bass drum for the Seattle Cascades Drum and Bugle Corps’ 60th Anniversary Season! Unfortunately, drum corps fees are super expensive, with costs covering a multitude of things like housing, food, transportation, equipment, and more. By donating or sharing this fundraiser, it helps me so much in ensuring I can march my ageout season.

10 years i’ve been a percussionist.
9 years i’ve known about the marching arts.
8 indoor seasons and states i’ve performed in.
7 popped drum heads.
6 WGI events i’ve competed in.
5 years i’ve marched independently.
4 times i’d have gone to Dayton (counting this year).
3 different instruments i’ve marched.
2 countries i did band in.
1 uniform i got to keep.
0 regrets.

talk about one hell of a recap. (ft. the moments i haven’t really shared.)

i’ll be real—i did not want to do a post regarding the latter half of this year bc it sucked. these memories may not show it but they’ve happened during the lowest part of my life so far. however, it doesn’t change the fact that i still have all these memories, experiences, and friends that i can smile about. they, and others not pictured, have not only helped me get through this summer/semester, but have given me back the motivation and love for the day-to-day. so, thank you.
