As a lover of Black IPA i was pumped to receive @renaissancebrewing 6.66% 'BLACK THE RIPA'.

An enticing mahogany pour with ruby tinges sets the mood for toffee caramel base notes, then the magic flows with abundant resiny pine, rye spice and fleeting citrus pulled together by a prickly carb an sleek mouthfeel, a drying chocolate finish delivers a crackin example of the style.

@epicbeer 'Standing Ovation' 6.7% IPA.

Podium finisher in the recent WCIPA Challenge an never has there been a more aptly named brew, hopped with 'ol skool' Colombus & multi dimensional Mosiac, theres instant palate loading of zesty citrus & resinous pine meets tangy blueberry with a oily yet bristly bitterness all atop of a robust malt bill.

Absolute 'ol skool' banga ! definitely need an encore.

First off big thanks to the bro @coloradkiwi @doublevisionbrewing for slingin me a super generous beermail pack, being in the midst of winter there 6% 'LUSCIOUS LOOMPA' Choc Orange Stout was a no brainer to kick things off.

A beautiful ruby cola pour sets the tone, throwing down notes of creamy milk chocolate meets syrupy orange think orange choc chip ice cream or liquid jaffas, mouthfeel is plump courtesy of a lactose injection giving it a more lush indulgent vibe, just bloody delicious drinking.

How goods a Red IPA ? @urbanautbrewing go one better with a 7.5% Dub RIPA pairing it with some classic 'ol skoolers' Amarillo Simcoe Cascade & Citra.

Gooey toffee caramel meets apricot peach before descending into a more savoury piney floral experience on a resinous mouthfeel, delectable an highly deletable!

Brewed for iconic Welly locals @lbqwelly 15th bday celebrations would be perfect drinking at the source in the midst of a NZ Winter. taken in Red Zone by @_____dusty_____
