ITS A GIRL 🌸
Welcome home, Jolene Lorraine Robinson

This little lady flew out at 8 Ibs at 6:39pm last night, August 20th.
Although her due date was the day before, we think she was waiting one more day to steal her daddy’s spotlight since it was his birthday! Now daddy & daughter are birthday twins 🥰🤍 Happy Birthday Chase and Happy Birthday Jo!! by @___chaserobinson

Feeling like we won the jackpot with you

You work so hard and somehow come home to be 100% present at all times. You’re silly, patient and kind with our son. You’re apart from us full time for work and compartmentalize the dad role so you can show up for your job but somehow the moment you walk back through our door you instantly switch back into dad mode- scooping woods up before you even take your shoes off, offering me a break from motherhood. You are definition of what a man should be.

I’ve never once doubted your love or loyalty to me and never had to ask you to love me harder- the fact our children will grow up with that too is my deepest desire and was always my greatest prayer. I am simply amazed by all that you are and your consistency in this life. Thank you for providing for us, constantly growing and choosing to always show up for us in this sometimes mundane life. We love you immensely Chase!

Your first full year of motherhood from the point of view of your greatest admirer and sub par videographer.

Most of these clips are of the back of your head and Woods’ giggling face. I think that is quite beautiful. It’s a cherished view that I have the privilege of experiencing every day. Seeing my son, the most precious part of me, being so filled with joy by my greatest gift and deepest love.

Life has given you more pain than you deserve, but our children will never be punished for it. You choose peace and integrity and honor always, and they will know God because of it. The work of a mother is impossibly hard and constant, but you allow yourself to soak up the sweetness - because you’re wise enough to know how soon you’ll miss it.

I hope there’s a section of heaven where we can re-live this stage of life as many times as they’ll let us. by @___chaserobinson
