upcoming in may, a springtime showcase at @thebroadwaynyc featuring the return of the clairaudience full band. I am very excited for this lineup, featuring: the dreamy liquid dancegaze of @pamela__ahs , the liminal eurorack waves and electronic design of @y_o_o_l__ , and the eclectic and enigmatic dj stylings of experimental selector and sound installation artist @foodsonmyshirt. more on the acts in the days and weeks to come. tickets on sale next week. taken in The Broadway by @___clairaudience___

John Thayer @sonic_monkeywrencher and Clairaudience @clairaudience perform at @sctrpc @_stretchmetal #dronerodeo 2026

Distorted tones and warped harmonies filled the space, folding time into sound. Listeners leaned, shifted, laid and languished, closing their eyes in the slowed passage of time, between the small epiphanies of the ear. taken in Stone Circle Theatre by @___clairaudience___

At the very end of 2025, @uproxx named “Letters From Emptiness” one of their “Most Overlooked Indie Albums of 2025.” Thanks to @ianlcohen for the kind words and acknowledging the latest entry in my long history of picking names with terrible SEO. by @___clairaudience___

clairaudience performs solo this Saturday evening/Sunday morning as part of @_stretchmetal’s Drone Sleepover 2025. Tickets close Oct. 24 at 5:00 PM CT, with no day of tickets.

Really excited to tap back into the formless ambience that this project started off with, creating sheets of guitar for tuning in and dropping out

Ticket link in bio.
