As believers, it is easy to get caught up in the many things that demand our attention. But in the midst of all these, there is a need to pause and consider what truly matters to God and how our lives should reflect His priorities.

We’ll be learning from God’s Word on the topic: “What Really Matters.” It will be an opportunity to realign our hearts with God’s perspective.

Authority was never given to us merely for personal victory; it was given for the advancement of the Gospel.

Jesus gave us authority over the power of the enemy, but the purpose was never simply that we would have power to overcome darkness for ourselves.

We have been empowered so that the work of God can advance through us and men can be brought into the knowledge of Christ.

This is why evangelism is not a responsibility reserved for pastors, evangelists, or those called into the ministry offices. Every believer has been commissioned to preach the Gospel.

Not every believer is called to occupy a ministry office, but every believer is called to be a witness.

Paul says in 1 Corinthians 1:21 that it pleased God to save those who believe through the foolishness of preaching. God has chosen the proclamation of the Gospel as a primary means through which men encounter the saving power of Christ.

So your authority is connected to your assignment.

You have authority over darkness so you can advance light.
You have authority over the works of the enemy so the Gospel can advance unhindered.
You have been empowered by the Spirit so you can be a witness.

And this means your uniqueness is not the destination, it is the vehicle.

Your business, creativity, career, relationships, influence, platform, skills, and every expression of who God has made you to be should ultimately serve a greater purpose: that through your life, men may encounter Christ and be saved.

You may not preach from a pulpit, but you must still be a preacher of the Gospel. You may not carry a ministry title, but you must carry the message. You are a believer, and therefore you are a witness.

The question is not whether you are called to preach. You are!

The question is: How will you use the authority, influence, gifts, and opportunities God has given you to make Christ known?

Jesus didn’t leave the believer at the mercy of Satan. At the cross, He disarmed principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them.

The enemy has been defeated, and in Christ, the believer has been given authority.

And yet, the enemy still operates through suggestions, deception, accusation and intimidation.

He speaks to the mind of the believer: “You cannot.” “You will fail.” “You are still bound.” “Nothing will change.”

He whispers thoughts. He plants fear. He tells you what you cannot do, who you are not, what will happen, and why you should remain bound.

And when the believer doesn’t understand his authority in Christ, he receives the suggestion as truth and begins to speak it.

That is the tragedy.

The same mouth that repeats the devil’s suggestions can speak the Word of God and exercise the authority Christ has given.

You don’t defeat the devil by agreeing with him.
You defeat his suggestions by standing in what Christ has already accomplished and speaking from your position in Him.

Many believers are still experiencing forms of bondage, not because Jesus failed to defeat the enemy, but because they have not understood what His victory means for them and they have not learned to use their authority by speaking.

Know who you are in Christ.
Know what has been given to you.
And when the enemy speaks, speak back!

We did not become sons of God because we started doing the right things. We became sons because we believed in Christ.

The works came after the sonship.

You don’t pray, serve, obey or live right so God can finally look at you and say, “Now I love you.”

We do these things because we have come to understand that we are already loved, already accepted, and already brought into relationship with Him through Christ.

This is why identity matters so much.

A lot of believers are trying to experience the fullness of what God has given them while still thinking like people who have to earn their place with Him.

And when identity is misunderstood, everything around it begins to suffer, our faith, our obedience, our confidence, our prayers, our relationship with God and even our understanding of what salvation has accomplished.

You cannot fully walk in what you have received if you don’t know who you have become.

The Christian life is not first about doing more for God. It is first about knowing who you are in Christ and allowing that revelation to shape what you do.

Our struggles do not surprise God.

There’s a possibility of disqualifying ourselves just because we may still be struggling with some things.

We think, “How can God use me when I’m still dealing with this?” So we withdraw, hide, and wait until we feel worthy enough to be useful.

But the Cross tells a different story.

Before man ever fell, God had already made provision for his redemption. Scripture speaks of “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” (Revelations 13:8)

God knew the fall was coming, and yet He still had a plan for man.

This means your struggle is not an excuse to run from God. Neither is it permission to remain in sin.

Grace was not God’s afterthought. Redemption was already in His plan.

You may be struggling, but you are not disqualified. The answer to your weakness is not hiding from God; it is running deeper into Him.

The same God who called you knew exactly what He was calling you into and the struggles you may have and He made provision for your journey.

So stop saying, “God cannot use me.”
Come as you are, let Him work on you, and let Him work through you.

Some moments are beautiful because of what happened, but even more beautiful because of the people who made them possible. ❤️

To every volunteer who served, showed up, gave your time, your strength, your creativity, and your heart, thank you.

You may not fully know the impact of every little thing you did, but we saw it, we felt it, and we are deeply grateful.

And to everyone who came to In Christ for Christ, thank you for making the room, the fellowship, the worship, the prayers, the laughter and every moment what it was. Thank you for coming with open hearts and for being part of what God did among us.

From those who worked behind the scenes to those who came and stayed, served and supported, prayed and participated, we celebrate and appreciate you.

This was more than an event. It was a gathering of people, hearts and lives around Christ. And we are grateful that you were part of it. ❤️

Thank you for showing up. Thank you for serving. Thank you for believing. Thank you for being family.

May the fruit of this encounter continue to speak in our lives. 🙏🏾

There’s something deeply precious about having your parents present to witness what God is doing and even more so, to receive their blessing.

At In Christ for Christ, we were graced with the presence of our parents, their prayers, their covering, and the blessing that comes from honour.

Some moments are more than just moments. They carry weight. They remind us that we are not walking alone, and that there is a blessing in being able to receive from those who have gone before us.

We are grateful for the gift of parents, for their presence, and for the privilege of receiving their blessing. ❤️

May we never take the blessing of honor for granted.

In Christ for Christ was more than a meeting; it was fellowship.

And this is something we’ve come to cherish about Adullam, we don’t just gather, we connect. We don’t just sit together, we share life.

There is room for the Word, but there is also room for laughter, warm embraces, genuine friendships, and the beautiful simplicity of being family.

At In Christ for Christ, we experienced that too. 🫂❤️
A room filled with people who came for Christ and somehow left with a deeper sense of one another.

This is family. This is fellowship. This is Adullam.❤️
