Some footage of my work MIXTAPE, performed at @centre_daimon in July

Over the course of an hour, a scroll of images is unwound to music. Each time I reach the end of the paper, I roll it up and the performance starts again.

Toronto- I’m performing work in progress on the 24th! It is built around a public lecture about insects from 1875 and combines archival film, video, and glass lantern slides. everyone is invited but let me know if you’re coming because I need to figure out TMU card access.

also- I spent so long on this poster and then I was like fuck! it looks like @drbronner‘s but now I think it kind of works with the themes I’m exploring. by @__bencompton

my dad’s side of the family has done marionette shows for three generations. this weird puppet DNA helps me understand why I am Like This™️

at the end of August, some of them restaged a puppet show that was first performed by my grandfather in 1947 by @__bencompton
