A good day to relive some good memories from my second home 🇬🇲 1. Gambian core memories 😊 2. I personally believe God really shows off with the Gambian skies 3. @ajcokes and her tribe ❤️ 4. My fav @ajabeng.gh two piece paired with my @shopkhoi earring as a brooch 5. I truly love Banjul sigh 🇬🇲❤️ 6. GMD 7. I still think about this bowl of Ebeh. Kind of similar to mpotompoto but this is not mpotompoto’s mate 🤷🏾‍♀️ 8. My girls @irenecoker & @golden_yet_subtle dancing the Jola dance 9. Fatou Birago in her element 💁🏾‍♀️ 10. Bare face and sun kissed 11. A casual day @kololibeachresort 12. @nana_agyepong spotted a mirror inside and we decided to be creative @danieldaboateng 13. As a millennial, a boomerang is a must 14. I have no idea what that means but it keeps the people going 15. Unintentionally serving shades of blue 🔵 16. I just love this photo 17. #beachisalwaysbetter 🌊 18. Happy Independence Day to my second home 🇬🇲 19. Jaiye Jaiye was the soundtrack of my Gambian experience 💃🏾 20. Gambieeee I will see you soon✨ by @__birago

Turns out I had the @malikesidibe take photos of me @africanofilter summit. Love these so much. Slide 4 might be my favorite, there’s something poetic about it 🤔Not sure if I was laughing or screaming. @portraitseriess @neonseriess by @__birago
Karibu was my favorite word last week! Tried so hard not to respond saying “asante sana squash banana”. Iykyk😂 Also, I need to start asking people to take photos of me because I can’t believe I went for a summit and came back with mirror and elevator photos of myself 🫠 Anyways, I had a lovely learning and fun experience at this year’s @africanofilter summit. Being in a place filled with beautiful likeminded people with one goal of shifting African narratives through different ways of storytelling was quite spectacle. The experience has left me fueled for season two of @changingthenarrativepod @_chapter54, @africanofilter asante sana! 💛 My favorite quote of the summit- “You can’t counter harmful narratives by negating them. Instead we need to crowd them with positive stories”- @damken80 #anfsummit2023 #asweare by @__birago
